Anne Bradstreet is just like many of the other settlers in the Massachusetts area that belonged to a devout Protestant community called the Puritans. They believed in predestination, or the idea that God controls the world and the people in it, that every situation, good or bad, is seen as being part of God's plan; these religious beliefs are observed on her writings. Bradstreet wrote about how hard life is for all humans; time ravages bodies and minds, power and wealth are transient, family members die, inclement weather destroys the land, and it is easy to become distracted by the sinful pleasures of the world. She also understood that the condition of man is an inheritance from Adam and Eve, and also tried to remain focused on life after death, a great gift for everyone who converted to Puritanism. Some feelings just need to be expressed, and writing a love poem is one of the most creative and sincere ways to say what's in your heart. Playing at the fact he's an animagus, the engravings on Sirius Black's wand mean "more or less human". The wand of Sirius Black was of unknown length, wood and core material. The length of 15 inches seemingly originates from the prop made by Noble Collection, a large producer of Harry Potter merchandise. Sirius Black was the best friend of James Potter and Harry Potter's godfather. In Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, he lends his Flying Motorbike to Hagrid so the half-giant can take little Harry to Privet Drive. Sirius is also the titular character in the third book. Tip! If you somehow missed the Harry Potter boat and wanted to read all the books now, you could just read all of Harry Potter summed up in one giant comic strip. Find out more at Gizmodo.
